Turf War

Well, they’re tearing up the “turf” that covers downtown Silver Spring’s ridiculous greenspace.  Read all about it at Silver Spring Singular.

People shit all over themselves defending the turf, but it’s really just cheap fucking outdoor carpeting.  It’s disgusting, it’s retarded, it’s not at all environmentally friendly, and it’s the most colossal waste of space I’ve ever seen.

So now they’re just going to pave it, because it’s awesome to have a city-block-sized concrete slab.

It’s nice that Silver Spring still has that low class, former train town, decaying warehouse district mindset about certain things.  Of course, the only real goal of gentrification is to get rid of black people, and they’ve done that, so now the city planners can go back to being white trash fuckos.
