I feel the need to remind folks that the Sunday Archive<\/a> stuff is just crap from my Gmail.\u00a0 Instead of deleting it, I\u2019ve decided to post it, because I\u2019m under the delusional assumption that nobody reads GS anyway\u2026so why not?
\n<\/p>\n

Not only is it the unfinished crap written feverishly at midnight and later forgotten, it\u2019s also old.\u00a0 The most recent was last Sunday\u2019s thing<\/a>, from 2006.<\/p>\n

But even 2006 feels like a lifetime ago. Lots of stuff has happened since then<\/a>. Once you go through a few family deaths, brain surgery, and losing your financial security, you have a different outlook on life.<\/p>\n

On one hand, I probably should be really depressed.\u00a0 Nothing\u2019s been easy.\u00a0 But I\u2019m so giddy about being cured that I\u2019m on this weird sort of high.\u00a0 It\u2019s been almost 17 months since the surgery, and I\u2019m still giggling and doing little jigs every time I brush my teeth and shave without pain.\u00a0 And it\u2019s the first 17 months of my life since I was 21 where I\u2019ve been able to sleep through the night.\u00a0 Even my summer death cold<\/a> was a pleasure \u2013 to sneeze and cough and blow my nose without pain.<\/p>\n

So, yeah, everything\u2019s very new right now.\u00a0 And that sort of balances out watching my idiot dad die, and losing my grandmother, and books not selling.\u00a0 Because all that stuff is just regular life, and I\u2019m able to deal with it while not under the influence of crippling pain and a wicked, mind-altering cocktail of drugs.<\/p>\n

Actually, though, have you all bought those books?\u00a0 Here\u2019s the main shop page<\/a>.\u00a0 And they\u2019re ebooks now, as well.\u00a0 Here\u2019s info on that<\/a>.\u00a0 They\u2019ll be on the Kindle shortly.<\/p>\n
