{"id":105,"date":"2008-06-05T22:10:20","date_gmt":"2008-06-06T03:10:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.greatsociety.org\/?p=105"},"modified":"2018-10-31T12:50:26","modified_gmt":"2018-10-31T16:50:26","slug":"scar-in-the-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greatsociety.org\/?p=105","title":{"rendered":"Scar in the morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I struggle with many things every day.<span>  <\/span>Chief among them:<span>  <\/span><span>Gabrielle Anwar.<span>  <\/span>Intense beauty?<span>  <\/span>Or dried up, scary husk?<o><\/o><\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Maybe it depends on the lighting.<span>  <\/span>I find that with most girls.<span>  <\/span>For example, as the sun changes position round this little planet of ours, I find myself noticing the leech-sized scar just above the right breast of the blonde girl at the bus stop who I have been passively stalking for six months.<span>  <\/span>I now know that she\u2019s Rhodesian.<span>  <\/span>Or, I suppose, descended from people who were once Rhodesian.<span>  <\/span>Now she\u2019s American, like me.<span>  <\/span>Welcome to the ultimate mongrel race.<span>  <\/span>Odin is displeased, but that\u2019s okay, because this mongrel race has more tanks than any god.<o><\/o><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Well, tanks are a little bit antiquated.<span>  <\/span>We have more robotic drones than any god.<o><\/o><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Can you imagine if Jesus had robotic drones?<span>  <\/span><o><\/o><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>\u201cYou will come with us to Pilate!\u201d<o><\/o><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>\u201cI don\u2019t think so!\u201d<span>  <\/span>Umm\u2026 Robotic drone attack.<span>  <\/span>No, I don\u2019t think that works.<span>  <\/span>Jesus was fucked no matter what.<span>  <\/span>How would that work with Bush?<o><\/o><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>\u201cYou will come with us to Pilate!\u201d<o><\/o><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>\u201cNow, now, alright, heh-heh, let\u2019s talk about this, heh-heh.\u201d<span>  <\/span>Then Cheney leaps out of the undergrowth and shoots everyone in the face.<span>  <\/span>Just like stupid spineless Peter should have done.<o><\/o><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Then Bush could have sung out:<span>  <\/span>\u201cPut away your shotgun! Why are you obsessed with corporate gain?\u201d<o><\/o><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Yeah, yeah.<span>  <\/span>What\u2019s the buzz?<span>  <\/span>Tell me what\u2019s happening.<o><\/o><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>So that scar.<span>  <\/span>I just want to suck on it.<span>  <\/span>One of these mornings I\u2019m going to ask for permission to do just that.<span>  <\/span>My dear lady, may I suckle that scar above your right breast?<o><\/o><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I struggle with many things every day.
