Kerry Vs. Foley
« on: November 01, 2006, 02:59:28 PM »
Has the mid-term election really boiled down to voting for the worst of two evils, one being the desire to have internet sex with young boys, the other to suggest that our government would rather send our uneducated, brown citizens to get shot up in foreign countries than their own college bound sons?

I've been hearing about this Kerry thing all morning. From the rhetoric being thrown around, you'd have though he said something along the lines of, "Every U.S. Soldier should be hung for treason." When I found out what he said, I was like, "Jesus, The GOP is really nervous about this thing if they're getting their panties wound up over that."

I think every politician should be taken to the streets and executed and we just get to start from scratch. Actually, that would probably backfire wouldn't it?

The "liberal media" thing is such an amazing and bullshit lie. It's the "$$$$ media". They can hype this shit to hell.

What about the Montana Republican whose cronies knocked some guy around at a rally because he was asking a question that he didn't like? Why aren't we hearing about that?

This is all part of the Republican plan to make people increasingly apathetic towards everything political until we all blindly believe whateve propaganda they throw in our face.

Well, we do do that.

It is nonsense.  I can't even follow it for more than a few minutes.

We've done that a couple of times.  They're wise to us now.

This is why no one in their right mind ever runs for public office. Rational people see this shit happen and know better.

Not nearly so much as they're just exploiting what's probably just a quirky wording.  Just..just..just.

Look at how much progress we've made with that strategy in Iraq!  Our (non)elected president keeps giving us glowing updates!  He studied hard finished school so he wouldn't have led us into a quagmire or given us false reports, right?

Oh, don't be daft, punk.  The Democrats are working for that same apathy; that's how duopolies work.

Man... it would be totally badass if they came out with a politics game for Xbox 360.

This Kerry thing is total, disgusting spin, but I loathe him for being such a goddamn moron. As Ze Frank pointed out, making an education joke about president Bush is a home run, and somehow Kerry did a swing-and-a-miss.

Thanks, this is roughly what I was going to post.

Speaking later in the day at a campaign rally in Montana, Vice President Dick Cheney said Kerry had "rightly" apologized, although he quipped that the senator "was for the joke before he was against it."

Beautiful.  That's the home run Kerry was looking for.  It bothers me when Cheney is that much smarter than the Dems.

Especially since they're still trotting out the quail hunting jokes at cocktail parties.

I wish we had a baby-eating bomb-throwing anarchist party.  I'd have a clear conscience voting for them.
