One quasi-feminist writer thinks Women's Studies is a cool idea . . .

I'm trying pretty hard to make sure Women's Studies isn't construed as anti-woman or anti-feminist. At the same time, I'm trying to be fair to the thematic issues (extremism, peaceful vs. violent political change) I'm dealing with.

This is going to be a bumpy ride, eh?

that's funny as hell.  I think you did the right thing with your last exchange with her.  I don't know if she'll ever "get it" in a way you'd both agree on, but it looks like she's not quite as low as a half wit and could be fun to engage in some philosophy to counterbalance the plethora of "DEATH RADIO!" photo comments.
