I'm in the process of downloading the entire Marvel Ultimate Universe comic book storyline.

Also, I read through all of Planetary and I'm not impressed. I read the first book of The Authority... and I'm nonplussed. I read the first two Human Target books, and they're decent. But after reading all of that, I'm really, really fucking bored with alternate universes and vast conspiracy theories and superheroes who are really evil fighting superheroes that are really bad. But I've got my own thing going on there.

No, I meant to say FAG!  I like comics as much as the next guy.  I have like seven webcomics I'm reading right now.  However, as a girl and a comic book lover, I must admit that saying that it's better than porn makes you queer.  Unless you're being sarcastic, and something tells me he wasn't.

When Nacho gets back, I want him to read this: I read through the run on Planetary and I think the first two books of The Authority...and Warren Ellis doesn't impress me. Is there something I'm missing, Nach?

Authority slows me down.  Planetary suffers from the usual Ellis thing where he makes one, seemingly at random, every three months or so and is working on a zillion things at once... What could be great is now seriously suffering.

Ellis will never recapture what he had with Transmet.  And I think he's starting to realize that.
