I'm always on here! All alone....in the corner...my red eyes watching...

I find it interesting that when I'm doing real writing (or procrastinating real writing), GS becomes a larger part of my life again. It's weird. Good, but weird.

Is GS dead? Will The Boble resurrect it?

Even when we weren't having babies and working high powered jobs, there were just a few of us! Buy more Bobles!!

Nacho was texting me about how people don't get Nacho Sasha, and I started thinking about how awful the internet is these days and yet also how often I look at it. It's a weird sort of addiction that I really should shake. I did good when I first left DC, but now I'm back on the stuff.

I miss the old days when it was all about sharing ideas instead of trying to censor them.

And again -- I am on complete blackout and it' great! No news. I ignore all of my social media feeds -- I just maintain my own posts (and, increasingly, hire that hit out). I don't even know what fucking day it is or if it' going to be rainy or sunny... And I don't really intend to find out until it happens or someone tells me!

So the more you bemoan the horrific state of the internet, the happier I am at this choice. I will never look back.

The other side of this coin is that, yes, I'm flummoxed when some idiot leaves a clueless comment on the FB feed they've been following for 15 years where I behave exactly as I've always behaved...
