I don't get the hatred for the Disney movies. TFA did what it had to do to reboot the series, TLJ was easily the best Star Wars movie since Empire. I think that the franchise is actually an example of how a story can still be told despite corporate machinations.

We were going to get these three Star Wars movies anyway... We should be happy that we're getting something we can watch instead of Jar Jar Binks self-masturbation.

Man, I don't know what to make of these guys anymore. This reeks of an actual pathology that seems kind of scary.

I actually feel like RLM has run its course. It's the thing where they did a drunken lark and then got caught in the shtick.

And, yes, I'm also angered by people who are upset with TLJ. Easily one of the best Star Wars films! And certainly better, probably, than we deserved. And of course it parallels Empire. How could it not? That's the eternal problem with reboots. For the simple minded folks, like the ones running the Star Trek franchise, they simply didn't even bother hiding the parallels. Part two is Khan, part three is a queer take on Search for Spock. I half expect the crew to be hunted by killer space whales in part four.

I've come to judge people who hate The Last Jedi for what I think are all the wrong reasons (SJW schlock, ruining Luke, bad science, etc.), so I found RLM's takedown of it utterly joyless.

Though they sort of have a point when they compare it's ending to Empire's.

So, okay... I am addicted to Ghost Adventures. It's horrible and stupid and I'm very embarrassed to admit this.

So this made me very happy. Half in the Bag looks at the recent documentary put out by the Ghost Adventures guys and they, too, are utterly obsessed with the show!

I normally don't go for their non-Plinkett stuff, but this is really funny... and sad.

I watched it in 13 minute chunks throughout the day yesterday. Which I think is how it's intended to be watched.

I haven't watched it yet! Haven't had time.

Wow... His proposed alternate plot would have been awesome!

Poor Scotty: "An alcoholic Scottish man who's in charge of your engine which is basically a giant bomb."

I don't *think* so... though it'd be nice to see Plinkett back in top form. Lots to mine from The Force Awakens.

Will this make me cancel that blu-ray preorder?
