So Krypton. And not just because everyone from the future -- including General Zod -- is travelling back to fuck up the timeline. Hey, everyone, let's make a show about Superman's grandfather and the rise of the house of El and Zod...and then immediately sidetrack that story by bringing in everyone from the present day and focusing on their story.

Not far behind: Fear the Walking Dead. Which is now doing three different timelines to fill in their ridiculous time shift so they can catch up and crossover with TWD (and become a repository for excess TWD characters).

Oh wow! So is this a Utopia situation? Should I just not watch season 2 at all? The second season of Utopia didn't ruin the first season, but it sure was unnecessary.

Um... Stranger Things.

So they had something amazing in season one. They could never repeat it...and they didn't! Instead, they entered rapidly into jumped sharks and kicked dead horses. And now a renewal for season 3?

Come on, guys. Relax and think about this for a minute.

Giving up on The Colony. It's not even about alien invasion anymore. It's become a police procedural.

Also giving up on The Killing Fields. Obsessed detectives trying to solve the murder of a girl from 25 years ago and her body was dumped where hundres of others have bene so every clue reveals a new murder and new suspects but no actual conclusive evidence.

Mr. Robot.

Everyone raves about this show but I find it pedestrian, predictable, and full of tropes. It also suffers from Lost syndrome. They didn't know what to do once they got renewed.

It also doesn't help that it's basically Fight Club the TV series but it doesn't want to be Fight Club the TV series.
