Season three? It's exactly what TV Star Trek should be. Perfect, all the way through. Fan service in a way that actually, somehow, shockingly works and is acceptable and doesn't get in the way of the story.
I really hope the rest of "NuTrek" understands what just happened and adapts to build on this success.

« Last post by nacho on April 20, 2023, 12:05:07 PM »You know...with all these random shootings of fucking children and teenagers and random people who walk on the wrong side of the sidewalk or whatever, I'm really starting to think seriously about that fortified compound in the woods. Every morning walk I take I see someone freaking out -- like walking into traffic, beating on cars freaking out. This morning watched one guy cross through four lanes of busy traffic. An SUV guns it and wings him and he starts pounding on the windows (traffic was crawling). And I'll see a freakout like this again today when I walk to happy hour. I'm always seeing this now. Like everyone is living on a knife edge and the last three years have cooked all of our brains.
I live in Poshville where nothing ever happens and I'm scared. I can't imagine what America outside the Beltway is doing. It looks like it's all on fire!

It won't happen. Or they'll decrease the severity of it.
What drives me crazy is the supposed "liberal media" constantly putting Trump into the news cycle. Just shut the fuck up for, like, a week, and he'll go away. But no.
So the test, I guess, is what happens when he gets arrested. Trump's greatest fear is... Nothing happens. And I predict that. His star is gone. (He says hopefully.)
