We all want cryosleep until this is over.

About an inch so far! No reaction from anyone. Busy roads, nobody doing insane things like spraying sand and salt everywhere like they usually do even if the snow is predicted but not yet falling.

Weird. Is DC really post-half-an-inch-of-panic?

We've been preparing for the apocalypse for a year now. At this point, we hope a super-snowstorm kills us all.

We're all so addled by the events of 2017 that Saturday's first snow of the season is being reported with a sort of breathless shrug, and the usual people who stock up like it's the apocalypse don't seem to care.

We got 1.5 inches. And ice and rain and sleet and yuck that has frozen into brown death. So, yeah. A bust. As I predicted!

Would you like to come up and shovel the 6 inches of "bust" off my driveway?

I only shovel within the Beltway!

Literally half-an-inch of panic down here in the commonwealth. Maybe an inch+. It's turned to rain now and is all hard frozen nastiness.

I have to leave the house tomorrow though and head north then west so I'm keeping my eyes on Baltimore and West Virginia.

We're going to get 2 inches and it'll get up into the mid-40s Tuesday.

We went to the grocery store yesterday and shopped for the week. (Which we needed to do anyway.) We're good to get shut in.

Now the panic is starting, though. Metro is already shutting down their extra services at 4pm.

They're talking 12"+, but I think it's all a conspiracy.

We didn't even hear about it till this morning. But everyone's been sort of like, meh. Even WaPo is blah. Are we over our storm panic? Or has the entire city spent the last six weeks sick as a dog?
