Go back and read it actually. Some of the ideas are almost quaint, while in other ways this discussion was almost ominously prescient.
Anyway, somebody at Buzzfeed (a subsidiary of NBCUniversal) wrote a pretty good piece about the loss of the old internet that made me realize how important keeping GS alive may be. We don't often say "thanks" to Nacho for keeping it up, but "thanks." (It also touches on all the crazy migration issues he's has every time the forums go ka-blooie.)
