Made the weird decision to start reading the Mike Hammer books. Not sure I'll make it though... The first one is very dated. I, The Jury.

Man, Kyla Stone's exciting little apocalypse books are amazing. She must crank these out every month or something. Just finished book one of The Last Sanctuary series, Rising Storm, and immediately screamed into the second one, Falling Stars.

Falling Stars was great! Moving on to book three -- Burning Skies

And plowing into book four now! Breaking World

On to the final book! Raging Light.

And then I need to take a break from this author...wow.

Rawhide Down - A fascinating and fast read about the attempted assassination of Reagan. Amazing how close he came to dying (and how close we came to an accidental coup).

Yours Cruelly -- Elvira's memoir. This is absolutely wonderful if you're a fan of Elvira and grew up with her. I'm not sure it would be enjoyable if you don't know who she is (and certainly if you don't like her). So for me this was a terrific and powerful memoir!

I Alone Can Fix It is an exhaustive (liberal-biased, somewhat) review of Trump's last year in office...and it should be required reading for anyone who wants to know WTF happened in 2020 and 2021. Despite being hugely anti-Trump, the book does present the research, the quotes, and the facts and lets the reader make their own conclusions....which are horrifying.

The last book in The Expanse series! Leviathan Falls.

This series was outstanding from start to finish. Simply amazing stuff and a very satisfying finale. A great way to start the new year!

Started a new PA series! This one is an EMP apocalypse. Book one was an awesome, fast read. Edge of Collapse

The second book keeps up the pace! Good stuff! Edge of Madness

Book three and still good! Edge of Darkness

On to Book four! What a fun series. Edge of Anarchy

Screamed through Book five and book six!

And done with Book 7. This was a great series!

Read Circe by Madeline Miller during my holiday travels because I'm apparently the last human on Earth who hasn't read it. Greek myth with a post-feminist spin that's a ridiculous page turner.
