We tied for Best Screenplay with this film, which was made by a buddy of mine with a bunch of people I know, 3which waqs really cool. They also won "Best of DC" and I think they deserve it.

I'm pretty jazzed because I got recognized for writing, which is how I started out on this crazy train. It feels fantastic.

Also, I had tons of people I didn't know rolling up to me saying, "You're the Women's Studies guy, right?" which means we've got buzz.

All in all, a great night.

You know, now that I just talked to you on the phone, I'm having second thoughts.  Tonight's meet might be over by 9pm... Just catching up on Fatal Light stuff (read: drinking).  We'll play it by ear...?

Tonight's the big night.

Mrs. RC and I spent our morning walk trying to guess what award we might be receiving, but honestly we have no clue.

Well, I think you should claim best drama anyway.

They don't break down that way, but rather like this:

Wow...does this mean you're pretty much guaranteed best drama (since you're the only one to make it this far)?

Or do they not break it down that way?

We screen at 9:30pm. If you don't get tickets within the next few hours, you probably won't get them.

Although RC, meeting your wife after seeing her in her underwear was kind of surreal.

That's what EVERYBODY says.

It was cool to meet you too.
