Maybe it's been all the Hunter S. Thompson I've been reading lately, but I feel like the world is crumbling around me and I'm in some kind of acid trip, but no trip could be as bad as the vibes I'm getting these days.

HST, and all the radical old timers who lived through it, have said that Bush beats Nixon, hands down.  And Nixon was a freakout acid trip.  So...

HST even went as far as to say that he would vote for Nixon if he ran against Bush, and that's sort of like God saying he prefers Satan over Jesus at the end of Matthew and calling everything off.

edit:  Sorry, I watched an hour of Passion of The C and my brain's melting.

I'm just finishing up the Great Shark Hunt right now I'm preparing to dive into Generation of Swine. I'm working my way up through his books by decade.

Also, I totally understand the movie thing. I'll watch some of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas before I head off to class sometimes. It makes my day more fun than if I go through it intellectually straight and clean.
