what scares me is that both you and Tyson saw the preview for Saved! and thought it would be worth two hours.

ack!

there's nothing to cut the rum with except milk or...guiness.  yech.  guess i'll just have to have it on the rocks.  Tuesday night, work tomorrow at 8...drinking rum straight...see, this is why my personal checks smell like a wino.

I've done that before.  It's a bad sign...yet, liberating.

Woops, Butterfly went into the shipping spot.  Heads out Wednesday.  Damn.

Should I avoid Bad Santa?

By the way, just watched Club Dread tonight.  Loads of stupid fun.  Love the blonde workout girl.

wait, so who didn't like Max, you or Nubs?

i thought it was...well.  I liked it when i watched it, but then i forgot i had even seen it until someone was talking about it months later.  Cusack's got a great role, heard he played for scale, but that sounds like oscar-fishing.  or maybe the accumulated guilt of doing the same romantic comedy (no matter how entertaining) over and over got to him and he decided to do a hitler movie.  That guy who did hitler was GOLD though.  where is he now?

yeah, i just looked it up.  apparently, he's one of "those guys."

i.e.  "Hey, look...it's that guy! from that other movie!"

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...how can that fail? I mean, honestly.  Depp, Burton, fantastic story and probably a huge special effects budget.  It won't fail.  I refuse to believe it.  I'm usually die-hard against remakes, but ever since Dawn of the Dead I'm willing to give a few remakes a chance.

Seriously man... Dazed and Confused was fantastic; a slice of Americana right up there with American Graffiti.  I never get tired of that movie, or any of Linklater's stuff actually.

Max sucked a big dong... it was just so hokey and presumptuous.  Maybe I'm supposed to respect it because it attempts to humanize the pre-Nazi Hitler?  I dunno... I just thought it sucked ass.

Now in my defense, all I was handed was a burned DVD with the word "Saved!" written on it, so I knew nothing about it.  Total crap... even the hot chick boning a crippled Culkin couldn't save it.  Bleh... fucking hated that movie.

Bad Santa was hysterical.  I give props to any movie that can make my Mother and Step-father quit watching it after only 10 minutes.  I thought it was great stuff.

What I love is that it's an end of the career flashback thing.  Almost Famous...ten years later!  So you get some fun 80's depressive shit.

The movie was all about Depp, yeah.  It was sort of the great send-off to one of Hollywood's best Cinderella stories.  I think you should watch it with that in mind.  It's Rodriguez's Alien 4.

I'll have to give it another shot I guess.  I could be wrong.  I only saw it once in the theater and was really, really disappointed by it.

Butterfly Effect is complete garbage... stick to slapstick, Kutcher.  You're the next Keanu Reeves in the making... your ridiculous name should tell everyone as much.

And Battlestar!  I'm a remake man, now.

Hey, does Kidman get naked in the Human Stain?  I'm going to watch it now.
