It's a ruthlessly hacked together streaming series designed to compete with Discovery. Filming hasn't even begun yet, but they're promising a fall 2017 release.

Um...woah... Stargate: Origins is awful.

It's also just a series of webisodes detailing Catherine's origin story. So, basically, there are no special effects. Each episode is 8-10 minutes, and the plan is that it'll "add up to a movie length episode." All about...the most boring character in the franchise who never managed to get the Stargate working over the course of her 60 year career!
