Woah... Um...guys. I kind of liked Ghostbusters.

The real star was Kate McKinnon I think. I laughed at about every single line she muttered. And she stole just about every single scene she was in.

McKinnon was amazing. As a whole the movie disappointed me, unless they reedited it for DVD release.

I'd be curious to know... There were so many  "women can't be Ghostbusters" jokes that they either did reshoots for the  blu-ray or staged that whole sexist backlash.

I thought the chemistry between the busters was lacking. But I couldn't say publicly without being labeled sexist.

Also, I hate Slimer.

Am I still a sexist misogynist pig if I say Ghostbusters 2016 was a lackluster misfire that was far less than the sum of it's parts?

Anyway, Jason Reitman's reboot is just nostalgia porn by way of Stranger Things, but it piqued something inside me for sure.

The all-female reboot was so obsessed with being an all-female reboot that they forgot to take advantage of the three funniest women in America, a great script, and a wonderful idea.

Afterlife? Now, you know...that sort of plugs into the darker elements of the first two movies (the ghosts are on the rise because of the coming apocalypse and, thanks to the Og Ghostbusters, the apocalypse has been averted...or...has it?) So, done right, I would not object.
