I've heard a lot of good things over these last few months. Now that quite a few fantastic Nintendo 1st party games have been released, most of which have been received as some of the best games made these last few years, this is supposedly the year to get one - with a new Star Fox and Zelda on the horizon, and maybe a new Metroid game.

I've heard a lot of good things over these last few months. Now that quite a few fantastic Nintendo 1st party games have been released, most of which have been received as some of the best games made these last few years, this is supposedly the year to get one - with a new Star Fox and Zelda on the horizon, and maybe a new Metroid game.

I got one a few months ago. I like it, but the whole controller situation confuses me every time I use it. The controller with the screen on it is big and clunky, so you need to have space for it, but otherwise I really like the system.

It is everything other consoles are not. It's small, pretty simple and doesn't try to be something it's not. Games are great with a really good selection of NES and SNES games in the online store. That's honestly what sold me... I wanted to play F-Zero again.

So I crashed at my buddy's place because of snow last night and we stayed up until 2am playing Wii U. It made me want one.

It's the only system Larry will actually sit down and play with me. She even asks to play sometimes. So Nintendo definitely has something figured out that other game makers do not. Their games are appealing to a much wider audience.

And I bitch about the screen controller only because of its size, but actually it is really nice. It means I can turn on the Wii and play games while Laura watches Catfish or Oprah.
