Bought Castlevania: Symphony of the Night which came out in 1873. Good solid fun.

Missus RC and I are about 1/3 of the way through Lego Harry Potter which is really well done.

Have you heard of Cuphead? It's like playing a Max Fleischer cartoon.

Cuphead is rad, but hard as hell.

I only have PS4, so I really don't know much about the current gen consoles. Sony has some killer titles, though.
You should definitely try the God of War series... great gameplay, fantastic graphics, ultra violence.
Gran Turismo is great too, but not sure if you like driving games or not... this one's straight simulator and it's one of the best.
The Uncharted series is great too... like playing an Indiana Jones movie.
Heavy Rain is an excellent, older title. Kind of a depressing mindfuck as well.
Horizon Zero Dawn is beautiful and pretty fun.

If you have Playstation Plus, you usually get 2 free games a month. They're older titles, generally, but I've gotten some killer stuff from there. Same with Xbox, really. They all have this monthly subscription that usually winds up to be $50-75 a year and comes with monthly free games. All you have to do is add them to your library while they're free, then you can download them at your leisure and you own them indefinitely.

I'd also recommend getting an external HD for it if you wind up downloading/purchasing a lot of games. I've had to get external drives for just about all my systems except the Switch.

Got back to school so my gaming time dropped off considerably.

What sizes externals do. you use? (And what brand?) At the rate I'm currently buying games, I'm not too worried about eating up my space, though my wife really wants the 75GB Hogwarts Legacy game.

A lot of folks are trying to talk me into PS+, but I've purchased exactly two games since opening the PS5 box in November.

(I imagine this thread will get lively again in May.)
