Gubernatorial primries in VA today. I'm going democrat and voting for Ralph Northam because I trust that Periello guy about as far as I can throw him. Guy seems like a desperate opportunists. Northam leans a bit too conservative for my taste, but at least it's a consistent lean right. Current Governor McAuliffe endorsed him which is enough for me.
Lieutenant Governor is tough because I like all three for slightly different reasons. Probably going to go with Susan Platt since I feel like it's a wash here, and we could use a little more estrogen in VA politics.
