My wonderfully out of date monitor just took a giant shit on me!

Now I'm stuck on this 14" from the 80's that has no vertical hold to speak of.  Look at it twitch!!!  I knew I shouldn't have given all those extras away.  I've given away about 8 monitors in the last couple years.

Anybody have anything laying around they want to bring me?

Sorry, I don't... how much is a new monitor these days anyway?  

Monitor Deals! ... No idea if this place is credible or not... they've got some cheap monitors though.

In general, you pay for what you get.

Dell's LCD monitors are the best bang-per-buck, I've found. But if you *really* want a top-notch monitor, Apple's widescreen or ViewSonic's top-of the line monitors are good choices. My tender loins are wet for Apple's Cinema Display's, of course. Can you imagine? 30 inches! *slobber*

If you're on a budget and want a CRT, just go with a name-brand and you'll be fine.
