Finished Book 3 of 1Q84. It's much better than Book 3, even starting as promisingly as Book 1 did, and Ushikawa meeting with Tamaru provides an excellent chapter. When Tengo and Aomame meet, however, it becomes maudlin and kinda gay.

Yep. I gave up in disgust... And your final comment there does not inspire me to return to it.

Might as well finish Book 3 for closure, dude.

Ugh. I might. I don't know... Being a Murakami fan for so long, I sort of hate to see this long, terrible decline continue. I'd rather remember him as he was!
