iMovie or something else?
« on: December 28, 2010, 10:19:31 AM »
So my computer is old...a PC...and I use it for mainly web surfing/ bill paying.  However, I expect that to change soon.  I got me one of them fancy HD video camera's for Christmas and will get into creating movies and pic slideshows with music and everything.  I've used my sisters iMac for this before and was blown away with how easy it is to create a really good home movie.  However, when I went to go look at iMac's the price made my wallet jump out of my pants and hide under the couch.  I know Mac's kick ass in this arena but is there any good PC programs that are just as good as iMovie or whatever Mac is selling now?

Windows Movie Maker is what most PCs come with.

You're talking editing programs. I have AVID Media Composer which is a super high end one.

Look into Premeire by Adobe or Vegas by Sony.

I haven't tried that since my computer is running on XP and I don't think it came with it.  But I will look into it.
