After a year of heavy tea snobbery, I've been brewing coffee every morning for the past six weeks or so. While I like coffee quite a bit, I'm something of a novice when it comes to picking out what's good and what isn't. (Dunkin Donuts makes awesome coffeee as far as I'm concerned.)

That said, I'm interested in expanding my palette a wee bit. Who's got suggestions?

Well, my first suggestion is to stop with the Dunkin Donuts coffee.  Jesus.

You can pursue two levels here.  Passive or aggressive.  If passive, my current favorite is the Whole Foods brand coffee.  Island Roast, Pleasant Morning Buzz, etc.  $12 for a pound and a half. You can't go wrong.

If you want aggressive, I can try and round up the guy who roasted his own Cuban beans in Canada and then smuggled them down to me. Best coffee I've ever had.  He's probably in jail now or something.

I'm also very disappointed that the peak at your bedroom doesn't reveal something horrible.
