So... Rick Grimes leaves the show.

Let's recap! He gets impaled on rebar after his horse freaks out because two massive herds of the dead are approaching. He pulls himself free and gets back on the horse (which stood by instead of running away even though it was panicked). Then he spends the entire episode trying to get away from the herd of the dead and having flashbacks to the first two seasons, with a special selection of guest stars telling him important stuff.

For what must be, in-universe, about 4-6 hours, Rick is literally GUSHING blood from his wound NONSTOP. Like, he and the horse and evertything is covered in blood. He's leaving a long snail trail of pooled blood.

But...he survives to get to the magic bridge where, for some reason, they're storing a full crate of dynamite on the teetering construction platform. We see about 12 bundles of six sticks each. Rick shoots the dynamite from roughly 12 feet away and there's a tremendous explosion and....

He survives to be whisked away in the mystery helicopter we've been seeing for three seasons.

The end.

I canít believe thereís a Season 9... I know Iím probably 12 seasons behind but I watched the first 8 on Netflix and thought, ĎUgh... at least thatís over. I can stop hating myself so much.í

I guess Iíd better strap in.
There will come a day for every man when he will relish the prospect of eating his own shit. That day has yet to come for me.

And two spin-off series, and a series of movies about to start. And there's rumors that we're getting "foreign editions" and that the first spin-off is getting a spin-off.
