Okay, I think we should spin this guy out into his own thread... He's the Star Wars review guy that Tyson turned us all on to.  If you haven't watched the reviews...you must do so! He's really amazing and spot-on.  And he ruined my secret love affair with First Contact...

He really got into the groove with the Star Wars stuff.  I think everything before that was just sort of him doing a Greatsociety and not really thinking the world was watching.

RLM's latest review is Baby's Day Out . . . you know, the movie the chick popped in the DVD player at the end of the Episode II review? It's about a half hour long, but the last three minutes is where the "Episode III review is coming" gold is.

FINALLY watching this... And woah.  People should just skip forward to the 20 minute mark where he gets so angry with the movie it's almost uncomfortable.

And the fucking finale... Jesus.  He's turned crazy reviews into a thematic narrative, huh?  It's amazing.

Oh, thanks for the bump! I still haven't got to Episode II beyond the first 10 minutes. Time to sit down and get it in me.

For whatever reason, I've been reading/hearing more recently about what a complete fucking betrayal I-III were. IV-VI were the foundations of a huge sub-culture of nerds, sci-fi, and so on and then they come back in the 90s and completely shit on everything that millions of people grew up with. I'm amazed George wasn't assassinated, at the very least after fucking Episode I.
