I mean, why not... we've got one of these everywhere else now and the first 10 years of the new millennium have been more formative for video games than perhaps anything else. With Microsoft entering the home console market in 2000 and Sega bowing out, you just knew big, strange things were ahead. Then, just when it seemed all hope was lost as Microsoft and Sony squared off with their juggernauts, Nintendo scored a huge hit with their less-complicated, more-interactive, family oriented video game console, changing the game all over again.
Please, please add anything I might have missed or left off. There are a lot of platforms I didn't play very many games on and there are plenty that I never got a chance to play, particularly when it comes to PC and Mac based games.
