Holiday Beers!

I always tend to avoid Blue Moon, but you're number two to talk about the Abby Ale.

And Celebration runs for $9.99 up here!  Got a six pack myself last night to wash out the horror of Anchor Steam's Christmas Ale.

I'm a not a Blue Moon fan either. However, Missus RC went through a Blue Moon phase a while back so we usually had it in the house. Therefore I developed a tolerance for it. I don't hate it, but I don't love it, you know?

The Abbey Ale is okay, but there are probably better holiday beers out there. If you haven't had it by the next monthly dinner, I'll make sure to have one or two on hand. (Though I intend to get out and get some really good holiday beer for that too.)

We have to solve the holiday beer problem by then! But...wow...the next dinner is next weekend!  Crazy. Now that I'm not working all weekend, time is flying.

I'm up a for a sixer of Celebration, but I'm also going to our local Wegman's to see what the dilly is.

Do you want me to wait for you to make the beer run and we can pick some stuff out together?

Nach just sent me a private message... he's decided to go with the Olde English holiday brew this year.  He bought an entire pallate and rented a forklift so he can get it off the truck when it arrives tomorrow.  He plans on drinking the entire supply out of a kiddie pool using silly straws that he bought at Sam's Club.  The pool's shaped like a turtle.  He calls it "Turtlin'" and hopes to make it an annual tradition.
