Ahh, I see.  Well, it must have been REALLY expensive for them to make if they decided to cut it out.  I mean, they're still making PS2 games for crying out loud!  Seems awfully dumb to cut people with only a PS3 out of playing those new release PS2 games.

With Microsoft, it made a little sense because as soon as the 360 hit shelves, they stopped producing any Xbox titles.  Of course, the only PS2 titles I've played so far are the God of War games, so I hardly use that feature of it at all.

I want a PS3.

Also, I'm thinking of buying a good tv this summer.

30-36 inches, full HD (1080p) and either Plasma or LCD, although preferably the newer Plasmas which have eliminated the screen-burn problems or really though... I'd love a new, paper-thin LCD.

Suggestions?

Are those future Euros?  Because 600 Euros is only 800 bucks these days because the world's ending.

They're German Euros.

And I still think in Pounds.

You should be able to get an LCD of that size for way less than you want to spend.

I don't know about Euro delivery and so forth, but I'm sure there are some European-based discount sites like this:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/

Front page, 52" LCD for $1300, 42" for $900, 25" for $200.

I'm sure you can easily find what you're looking for, at the right price, just by paying attention for a couple weeks.  These deals change all the time.

And they have a French sister-site. Locked. There go my worries about import/delivery.

Nice site, Reggie!
