That's the closest place to me to get supplies, as well.  Maybe I'll pop up there Labor Day and get some basics, and a simple, unexciting starter-kit.  Start out with a plain old helles or something...

Next Saturday is our planned trip for home brew supplies.  We'll see if that actually happens...

On the 16th, a friend of VP's is having me over for a brewing/drinking day. See his set-up, do the work under his instruction.

But we're not going to wait to learn by example... I'd like to get my first batch going next weekend.
