Let's look at what we are watching and enjoying, then.  Note I added the "and enjoying" there so it's yet another list Atlantis won't be on.  Jesus.

BSG (ends in 09)

New Dr. Who

Mentalist (though the latest episode worries me)

Boston Legal (ends in 09)

House has redeemed itself this year

NCIS

The Shield (ends next month)

IT Crowd

Survivors

30 Rock

Dirty Jobs

Psych

Burn Notice

The Office (though with the reservations mentioned earlier)

shield ended last night, brah!  haven't seen the episode yet.  i'm going to give rescue me 5 more episodes.  i can't even remember what happened last season, and that's not a good sign.  but i love that show and i'm not ready to write it off yet.  right now all we're into is:

top chef

office

and i guess the next 5 eps of IT crowd.

not a real big list.  of course, we've got 2 more months of good football to go, so.

I'm obsessed with the huge scar on Padma Lakshmi's arm.

Arm babies!

Actually, she was in a nasty car accident when she was a kid.  I research my scars!

Ah, Tina....

Anyone who sees the scar knows what it is... But weird that the slashing was when she was five.  What the fuck is that?  The answer just creates about a million more questions.

You're giving up on Dexter?!?!  Noooo!!!

And giving up on Survivorman!  I'm truly shocked.

So I stuck it out with Dexter, and it's kept my interest as things heat up.

And I've also stuck with Survivorman, and take back what I said.  The last two have been good.

Holy shit... Singing "Let's go to the mall" at the Canadian karaoke bar was a brilliant touch.  Great episode.  Barney's Christmas songs about Ted's sister were great, as well.

The 30 Rock Christmas was kinda lackluster I thought.

The 30 Rock Christmas was kinda lackluster I thought.

I don't know... I liked "I want to go to there!"  But it felt like the whole episode was tied around repeating that gag.

The Office Christmas was just plain dark.  I wouldn't be surprised if that show ends with them all dying or something.
