Sorta... now that I'm reading some response to the clip, it sounds like CNN might be taking it out of context a little bit.  Something about how he'd already been introduced to all of them which is why he wasn't shaking their hands... I'm not sure.  Still... looks to me like he was getting a huge snub from everyone.  He's got kind of an aw-shucks, head-down, little-kid-scorned look about him that's fairly pathetic though.  Bush has gotta be hating life right now.

Yeah...and the background story on it is even weirder.  Palin chose the backdrop, and even joked about it with the newscaster.

The slaughter's not even that bad really, it's the goony looking guy in the background who's kind of leering at the camera as the turkey feet wiggle around in his hand... very strange.

hahahahaa... MSNBC is so fucking transparent.  Before they aired the clip they told everyone to get their kids out of the room.... then they blurred the turkey's feet out!  Gimme a break... it's a shitty place to do an interview, but they're trying to make it look like she's giving an interview on the set of a snuff film.

I noticed that, too.  And saw another clip of something from CNN this morning where the announcer was doing the same sort of thing... Again, glad I don't have a TV.  What's with this faux-sensationalist thing? 

Now hold on to your seats...make sure the lights are turned up...avert your head if you're squeamish...I have here...yes...yes...it is a block of cheddar cheese!!!!
