it was really tempting to vote for the prohibitionists just so i could say i did, but i went with Barack....like i've been planning to for 10 months.  we also had a senator to vote for, a congressman, a city charter issue, and seven louisiana state constitution amendments.  pretty full buffet.

All we had were a fuckload of judges running un-opposed, so I didn't vote for any of them.  What the fuck do I know about judges?

that's why they all make millions of dollars a year.  a real oversight in our general democracy.  who the hell has time to keep tab on judges?

MADD keeps very close tabs on judges.  I'm sure other people do to, although maybe not as closely.

I don't remember seeing judges' salaries in the millions.

Judge's salaries are set per the title/position, separately from voting for individual people.  Here's a survey of salaries:
