Van Hollen's replied to my emails with maybe 75% yes/no agreement and maybe 50% of the important non-boolean how/why/next-up text. He's shriller and more cynical than Mikulsky but Hudon's position on Iraq (don't withdraw; the surge works) bothers me. His immigration stance makes me queasy and the tone of his other statements lend themselves toward a nationalistic militaristic Christian nation (similar to the status quo, but with a happy face).
His health care sounds nice, but many of the rest of his positions sound like ineffectual wishful fluff.
