Day 12. This thing is so tenacious. The cough is unbelievable. I'm hoping last night was the hump. This morning, everything seems to be coming out of me.

Yeah, you're on the same trip. Day 15 for me. The cough is calming down with an hour or so between episodes. Draining nastiness. But very troubled sinuses. I haven't been to work since the 7th!

Daytimes aren't nearly as bad, but around 5pm when I settle down, the cough is almost non-stop. It did start to lay off bit last night. I think I got five or six hours of uninterrupted sleep last night.

Last night was my first full night's sleep since February 7th! It was amazing.

Back to work today (also my first day back since the 7th) and it feels nice to, you know, wear clothes and go outside for more than a few hours. I was starting to get sick-bed depressed. Like 1pm, blackout curtains drawn, watching the A-Team depressed while I coughed till I bled.

Still a bit goopy and with a slight cough, and exhausted (though in a more "I'm tired" way as opposed to "I'm dying").

This was a real humdinger, as the kids say here in the year of our lord 1950.

Go you! Everyone I talk to says "two weeks." Today is day 13, and had I not taken the daytime medicine instead of the nighttime formula before bed last night, I *may* have slept thorugh the night. Still coughing like a fiend.

Missus RC is ate end of week 1. I feel really bad for her. The worst is just starting for her.

YEah. It was two weeks for me yesterday, so that timeline seems right. Jesus, though... What a hell of a two weeks. I lost 10 pounds!

Second day back at work. I was exhausted yesterday at around 3pm... May leave around then today.

Second full night's sleep last night! It was heavenly. Though I feel like mI'll never catch up. After 14 days of...not sleeping much at all, these last two nights have been like the sleep of the damned. I'm out like a light at 8pm and am just dead to everything until the 6:30am alarm. And still waking up tired.

This was one of the worst colds I think I've had.

It's pretty bad.

I got six hours of deep REM sleep last night. Pretty sure I'm reaching the end.

Okay. Finally feeling normal again. Still a very slight nagging cough, but I'm returning to regular life.

Just in time for the super weird winter weather allergies to kick in like a freight train!

That fact that that your *just* now feeling normal makes me feel good about the fact hat I'm on Day 17.

Day 19. Finally *truly* feeling better.

Yeah. My energy levels are still off -- like 7pm-8pm bedtimes and sleeping like a vampire. And still coughing up crap. But at least it's clear crap and not day-glo yellow-green.

So I lost the whole month to this one, really.
