I'm not aware of any problem with FF working on Vista...I use FF3 at home on Vista.

There are many problems with Vista itself...

FF3.1 will be this fall.  It is in alpha testing now, current schedule has beta in early October and the release should be just a few weeks after that.

Yeah, it's a great way to fool people who are terrified of anything not IE. Install that and they'll never suspect a thing.

EDIT: Wait, this is the rebadged Firefox, right? I may be thinking of something else.

Yeah, Vista is the forerunner for that new Windows OS which should kick ass. In theory.

I was wrong.  FF3.1 is currently scheduled for Q1 2009.

They say that about every Windows OS and SP. "We really, really got it right this time! Honest!"

i've got chrome for my non-work tabs, ff for my work tabs, and IE(6) for work things which require either IE or a second browser's opinion.

Every so often something fails to load in chrome: for a few days, mail.google.com didn't load!  Very odd like that.  But yeah, since I always have ff and chrome up at the same time, it's easy for me not to notice the lack of add-ons.  It just feels like I have a fast and sleek browser, and a slower one.

Good stable plugins don't make themselves overnight.

Given Chrome's extreme security and speed standpoint, there's likely a lot of restrictions on what plugins can do, which means that plugins that already exist may need to be significantly updated to work with Chrome.

I need to rebuild all my customizations but Firefox really is so much faster than IE7.
