Doesn't one of her kids have Downs Syndrome?
The newest one does. Born just a few months ago. She's proudly said that, even though she knew the kid had Downs Syndrome, she didn't get an abortion. Which...you know, who cares? McCain and Palin are making that the centerpiece of her "family values" ticket.
This abortion issue is just so...Well, 70's. So it's sort of not making sense anymore. She could go either way and my response would be, well, okay. So, anyway, where do you stand on the economy?
You must be out of your mind. If I wanted to have an anti-abortion rally tomorrow I could probably round up 1000 people. I mean, if I -- a staunch pro-choice liberal -- started right now, at 8pm Friday night, I could have 1000 people tomorrow by noon in a park in DC. And they'd be so happy, and livid, to be there making a difference.
Judging by my other experiences protesting, all of us protesters would share stories whilst we carried our signs, and Palin's story would be the most popular, the most expanded on, the most invigorating and uplifting.
