Haven't had any problems with it, although some of my friends have had with theirs, although theirs were White 16gb and Black 8gb so different models, nor did they take much effort updating the software regularly.

The only thing that's popped up is that the headphones' microphone/iPod controller button rectangle thing has appeared to stop working, although the headphones still play the sound. I don't know if this is the hardware fault of the headphones or if some little software-driver has been lost.

Does anyone know if the iPhone can act as a air card?  For example can I hook it into a laptop and use it to connect to the internet.  Some Palm phones do that.

The 3.0 version of the OS, coming in June, allows tethering, but it's up to the carriers to allow it. I'd imagine that they'll want a ton of money to allow tethering. But you never know. Actually, the 3.0 OS has a ton of really cool new things in it.

Also, the other day, I was walking to work and bought a song and listened to it in the space of, like, 60 seconds. If you told me 10 years ago that I'd be buying and listening to music on my phone while walking to class, I'd have rolled my eyes. The iPhone continues to wow me.

Yeah, Verizon is fucking retarded about tethering.  David had a phone about 3 years ago that we used when we were on the road to get internet.  You just tethered it to the computer and bingo... well, now he's switched to a Blackberry that also has the ability to be thethered... only Verizon makes you pay like $15 a month for them to UNLOCK the ability to tether.
