Facebook is a little like the following:

It's much fun. It's popular because it's very clean (i.e. interface-wise, not content) and it's easy to use. It's very aware of colleges and thing. For example, I can find all the people on Facebook taking the same classes as me or living in the same apartment complex. I can find people who like the same books as me, the same music, etc etc etc.

Much fun.

Also: I'm taking so long to graduate because, well, I'm changing my major in my Junior year (3rd year), so I'm throwing away two years.

Sounds gay.

On both counts.
There will come a day for every man when he will relish the prospect of eating his own shit. That day has yet to come for me.

I just got in to my hotel (with hi-speed wireless Internet). Today I have orientation. I haven't met any girls yet, but I'll let you guys know if I do.

I hope your camera batteries are charged up. I'm sure the women there don't compare to California ladies, however.

Don't be like Zerda and change your major every year.  It took me ten fucking years to get a bachelors in art.  Har-har, I can draw, hire me.

Sweet.

I love parking outside Belfast's nwe "funky-hip sexy" cafes with free WiFi internet for customers - they never password it.

Retards.

i met 500 people in orientation that i never saw again.  i think they all went to crematorium 3, while i was in creamatorium #2, which wasn't working that day, so instead they tried to kill me in the Class Registration Maze.  It took me the better part of 2 years to sign up for my first freshmen semester, but by that time i was technically a junior, so they put me in all the advanced classes, which  i failed.
You ain't a has been if you never was.

You should read the first chapter of The Cheese Monkeys by Chip Kidd.

Thank you God for online registration.

That was such a bitch. More details to come when I finish typing up my notes and format it into something cohesive.

Right now I'm communicating with faculty to see where I could slip into their Creative Writing programs. Got an excellent (and prompt) response from one of the Creative Writing teachers. Looks like all the dumb, retarded freshman hopped into the Studio Workshop classes, which are supposed to focus more on discussing authors than working with individual students. Hopefully I can skip pass some of the retarded pre-reqs and get into real major work. There's a special Undergrad Writer's Workshop, too, for advanced creative writing/serious undergrads. I doubt I'll get into that right off that bat, but it requires an application piece. That'll at least light a fire under my ass to get something decent down.
