Cindy Williams. I was so in love with her as a kid.

And her ten minute appearance on Andy Kaufman's special remains one of the most awkward moments of the pre-Borat era. (And rewatching it, I was struck how much Zach Galifanakis' 'Between Two Ferns' owes this bit.)

Walter Mirisch at 101 years old. He produced Some Like it Hot, West Side Story, In the Heat of the Night, The Magnificent Seven and scores of other Hollywood classics.

I had forgotten some of those old giants still walked among us.
