Yeah, that's good. There's been a lot of stuff in this vein, too. The 2010s were a diseased decade. A poisoned decade.

I keep trying to compartmentalize the fact that Australia is burning as just more of the same shit, but it keeps drawing me back in. It feels like an apocalypse in a movie, rather than just the slow march towards extinction through slow climate change.

She's my hero. In gauging smartness, there's an environmental question here. She grew up with a school system that encouraged intelligence and supplied the correct tools for said intelligence regardless of social class. Something that many parts of the world (including the US) is not willing to do.

As the world burns, more and more of our young people who have been given the ability and voice to speak out will start speaking out.

Also, vote AOC when she runs for pres!

My wife keeps saying we need a purge. I keep telling here that when the super bug hits, odds are she and I will be part of it.

Yeah, you can't wish for a culling and not expect to be a part of it. Most people I know who want the purge are fine if it takes them as well. We've become more globally minded when it comes to the idea of billions dying -- it's no longer for us, it's for the Earth.
