And just look at what Malaria is doing.  That's what my buddy (the original template for the GS "James") has been working on for the last 7 years -- killer mosquitoes!  NIH is developing mosquitoes that won't feed on humans. Once they're stable enough (he estimates 2015), they're going to release them in Africa.  And, slowly (he says it'll be closer to 2030), they'll kill off all the normal mosquitoes and become the dominant species.

Which means your Etta will get carried away to a super nest whilst you stand there untouched!  Assuming...uh...that Etta lives 20 more years.  I guess you'll be on Etta III at that point.

Well... Hydro and thermal is renewable. You could even say nuclear is renewable. 

How about also measuring coal?  Most of the eastern seaboard, the south, and the midwest is coal power, as well as northern Europe and South America and elsewhere.  There are still oil-based power plants in the old Soviet east (which, yeah, should only exist in Simcity 2000, but, you know...).

(Yes, I know, horse meat is big in Asia and even in surprising first world places, but, still.... WTF?)

Another interesting statistic -- men outnumber women?  Is that true?  I always thought it was the opposite... Why has that changed? Is there anything to back that up?

30 or so years... The "Peak Oil" date for when we lose it all forever....even though there's easily more oil beyond that date.  Bu it'll cost as much as the artificial oil that the Nazi's pioneered in 1940, which we've inherited and been sitting on.
