So watching Nip/Tuck, thanks to stupid Nubbins, and...wait...McNamara's wife is playing Jo in the 2009 remake of Day of the Triffids!

Jo's our lead, man.  Bill Mason and Jo.  Jesus... So now I'm analyzing every single scene because she has to fill Emma Relph's 1981 shoes...and that is going to be hard.

By the way, attached is my drunken, shameful, ugly, removed from the old front page review from 2003.

So the rumor mill seems to indicate that this (like Survivors season 2) has been indefinitely put on hold.

By the way, RC, the Survivors dilemma is what we were discussing in the movies forum... The Beeb feels the atmosphere wasn't right for a PA drama (namely in the wake of the Swine Flu).

So are PA dramas being put on hold?  Yes for Triffids, yes for Survivors, here in the US Day One isn't up until 2010...
