The New Saturday

It's Saturday night and I'm sitting in front of the computer working. Call sheets, extra calls, notes for upcoming shoots and events . . . that's what I'm doing tonight. Or maybe I should say that's what I'm putting off to screw around on GS.

Hell, I'm not even watching TV. Mrs.RC and I had our cable disconnected because we in the past two months we turned on the TV once.  When autumn comes around and the workload is lighter, I won't know what to do with myself.

I'm putting off loads of SFWP stuff in favor of beer and GS.  And, as soon as the light gives out totally, more Boston Legal.

I have a shoot tomorrow. Also the production has eight days of non-stop shooting, our longest stretch yet, beginning on Thursday. This is my first day off from everything in I don't know how long so I'm trying to be productive, but I just want to lay on the couch and read.

Back to the grind. I've spent all evening preparing for a big producers' meeting on the next big movie project tomorrow. Friday nights used to be about bozzing and whoring. Now it's when I catch up on work.

Alas . . .
