Famous last words.

Well, it's happening. Because this industry lets you plan a year ahead. I farmed out the fall 2017 release (a compilation of books) to interns. The spring 2018 releases have to be decided by March, so it's too late for those because I only do finished books. Maybe things will change for fall 2018...but that won't happen till the summer, and fall's a tough release season anyway.

So, at most, two books a year from here on out.

We tuned in just in time to see Mariah Carey melt down. It seemed much more epic at the time than it does in the light of day.

Double New Year's last night. East Coast New Years then, an hour later, NOLA freakout. Loads of fun. I'm covered in blood right now, but don't worry. It's not mine.

I miss an active GS. This last year has been so crazy and difficult. Really, ever since the torture thing at work. Keeping off personal sites, making sure my computer is scrubbed, not bringing in my personal computer.

Plus working on the book, ramping up my own company, and the post-torture firing and re-hiring of all the exec staff at my day job who went right ahead with a plan to make the day job horrible with poorly designed, idiotic changes.

It's going to be so amazing to escape. Get back to creative writing, paying attention to the world around me (and to myself), and just having the headspace to exist and live again.

RE: GS... We've all been busy as hell. Shrivels has been working on becoming the new world's greatest photog while balancing out a day job, Reggie has his top secret government assassin job that keeps him from participating regularly, I've been knocking of parents and in-laws left and right while readjusting to other middle aged sea changes.

And other social media gives us our internet hit, no? Though it's not GS. I miss it too, but it's more a longing for a simpler less volatile internet experience.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I know it’s been a while and there are 16,783 unread posts since my last visit, so I’m not even gonna man try to keep up with that. I’m assuming all posts are about Trump, North Korea, monkey masturbatig in various countries,  and different flavors  of ice cream.

I hope you are all well. I work in marketing for AAA now: read, I have a soulless desk job. But it is in Automotive, which I kinda like, so that is nice. I got married in September of 2015 and we bought a house in a Cincy suburb in January of 2016. My wife almost died in March of 2016 from some weird disease that destroyed her adrenal glands. That was harrowing to say the least and has seemed to have put everything in perspective ever since.

And I guess the big news is that we are expecting our first daughter in April of 2018, so holy shit. Hopefully I can keep her alive to adulthood or at least until she cultivated a decent taste in music and movies, because those are the important things.

So yeah... greetings from my in-laws’ couch. Hope this finds you all settling into your mid-life as well as I feel I’m settling into mine. It’s been a long, winding, bumpy-as-fuck road, but I wouldn’t trade a mile of it. Take care friends.

So my plan is to keep GS going long enough for your daughter to start posting in threads that you started 30 years previously.

Wow! I am impressed that you know Addison’s. She actually has Schmidt Syndrome, which JFK had as well. Took the better part of a year to diagnose and it was awful. Lots of doctors just saying, “You don’t eat enough! Drink more water!” And then sending us home like we’re crazy hypochondriacs.
