The valedictorian was a huge bitch. In her speech, she specifically slammed people who smoke and drank and did drugs in high school, to which there were numerous people laughing, then closed her speech by saying "In closing... I'd like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my mother...[etc.]. Thank you."

Tyson:
Pardon the pun(?) but Jesus! How lame.

I have friends like that, if you can believe it.

Fortunately, they've figured out that I think religion is goofy and empty, so they avoid that topic with me.

Oh, well the way it was worded, sorta suggested that you were saying that your progress was owed to your...drunkeness.

People like that just irritate me.  I say, keep your opinions about others to yourself.  No one put you up on stage because they wanted to hear about what you think of other students or their personal lives.  Is Jesus going to step in when a bunch of kids decide to bludgeon her with a bong??

Tyson:
I can't figure out if the problem is that I'm not drunk or that I should be by now.
