I know you're going to burn a disk of all the episodes for me, right?

Oh yes.  Or come over Election night!  I'm going to force Reggie to watch them all.

I'm dying for episode four.  God... Should be up by the time I get home tonight.

Holy shit... So episode four is just about everything that was good about Day of the Dead and 28 Days Later combined into 25 minutes of fucking freakout amazing TV.

Also Scottish People Are Dumb Stereotype is always hilarious.  America and England have been laughing at that gag since Monty Python.

Charlie Brooker, for those of you not in the know, is the British Joe Bob Briggs.  So that's what we're getting here.  Massive pop culture overload.

Man, when's the new Screenwipe coming out?

God... Tomorrow night ends this awesome event.  Shit.

Man, episode four just hollows you out.

When I see Brooker's name attached to something I think comedy, sarcasm, social commentary...

No.  This is just unforgiving and tense...  Even the parts meant to be comic relief are dark and terrible.  You feel guilty laughing out loud because they happen in between intense freakout scenes of loss, despair, gore, violence, and horror.

As the body count rises in episode four, that's really driven home.

Reviews pouring in... All are summed up with this:

Quote
...this is the best thing on British television in a very long time. I would have to say Charlie Brooker's cynicism and moaning have paid off in a great way of what good TV should be.

Announcer:  "The dead are baying for blood at the gates in the shattering conclusion of Dead Set."

Oh god...

Wait...wait...a zombie story where nobody is idiotically obsessed with leaving the safe shelter in search of something?  And the one who is is voted down, knocked out, and tied up?

Yep.

Wow...sitting in judgment of the guy who wants to leave is right out of the execution episode of Survivors.

God.  This is the best downfall of humanity I've seen portrayed.

I just spent the last 15 minutes staring at the screen with my jaw open, insensible to the world around me.

This is the best TV experience I have ever had, and the best thing to ever come out of the zombie genre.

This needs to be watched by everyone.

Interview with Brooker... A bit too long to post here, but worth reading.
