and...........you can't make this stuff up:

Quote
Palin Watching Debate at N.C. Pizzeria

The Post's Perry Bacon Jr. is in Greenville, N.C., where he filed a pool report on GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin watching the presidential debate. A modified version of his report follows:

The Alaska governor arrived at Boli's on the Boulevard here in Greenville about ten minutes before 9 p.m. She had changed from her suit and high heels into jeans, an Eastern Carolina purple windbreaker and brown shoes. She shook hands and posed for pictures for about ten minutes. She then sat down at a table with N.C. Republican Sen. Richard Burr, his wife, former senator Bob Dole and the mayor of Charlotte. She dined on pizza and spaghetti.

During the debate, when McCain spoke, Palin exclaimed "yes" when he answered a bailout question by talking about energy independence. She had a pen and paper out and occasionally took notes, but mostly either watched the screen or typed on her mobile phone.

Yeah, I was hoping you guys would be on to help the thread along. The final debate though - you better all be on!

Oh god...there's going to be another one?  I'm so sick of McCain, I can't stand to lay eyes on him.

If he dodders around like he did at this debate, it's totally worth it. Wandering around the stage like he's lost, forgetting to use his microphone, etc.

He's gonna try something crazy at the next one, I bet, because if he keeps like he has, Obama will win the 3rd one, as well.

Every day I find a new reason to loathe Sarah Palin.

That's the question most conservative commentators have been asking of the McCain campaign. Watching the FreeRepublic implode has been an unending source of personal gratification. The Religious Right is falling apart and I'm loving every second of it.

Palin is setting herself up for a huge implosion. I can't wait until she has to call Obama and Biden to congratulate them.

Dude, McCain wouldn't even shake his hand last night either before or after it got started. Palin will probably call him "boy".

Uh, dude, they shook hands before. And the weird thing after was McCain with a delayed reaction, not a deliberate snub. Please don't stoop to the level of Republican debate.

Let's talk about how "That One" is catching fire!

That One/Biden 08!
