And we're up!  7:50 est.

With 9% reporting, Allen takes a strong lead in Virginia.  Ooh, aah.

CNN reports "BREAKING NEWS!!!!"  Byrd will keep his seat in WVA.  Also -- BREAKING NEWS!!!  Trees grow up!

Indiana's three congressional seats swing Democrat in the first 20 or so percent.  Kentucky 3 goes Democrat at 74% in.  That's the spot everyone's watching in order to put out the "fall of the House of GOP" breaking news tag.

With only 16% in, CNN calls the Virginia 2 congressional race.  Ah, stupid CNN.  Anyway, they probably called it right... Staying Republican.  Ah, stupid Virginia.

Florida 13 -- Republican, I call it.  Not a surprise, not important.

Indiana sure looks like a Democrat landslide ina ll three congressional seats.

Kentucy 3 at 81% and still looking like a Democrat win.  Here's the man who is stealing the seat from the GOP in what the media calls the most important decision in the election:  www.yarmuthforcongress.com

VA Senate sees Allen and Webb neck and neck.  That's a bitter struggle there.

They're also going to ban same sex marriage.  Sweet.

CNN calls NC 6 with 1% reporting!  God, what a bunch of fuckwads.

Meanwhile... The messy Fla. Gov. election sees a Republican lead.  And, no, the zillions of independent candidates are not stealing votes from the Democrat.

Indiana 8 AND 2 are a clear Democrat win AND Indiana 9 sees the Dems pulling ahead.  KAPOW BANG!  That's a biggie.

Kentucky 3 at 83% reporting is neck and neck:  50 to 49%, Dem.  The star of the Dem comeback is on the ropes...

NH 2 opens up with a smashing run from the Dems, knocking out incumbent GOP Bass.

NC 11 opens up at 6% in -- almost even.

VA 2 is 50/50.

MD should start reporting soon...

Va reporting, since RC is lazy and not logged in:  Republican Allen leads as Gov, District 1 goes GOP, District 2 is too close to call, 3 (unopposed) is Dem, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11 are GOP, 8 and 9 Dem.  Not a single upset!  Everyone kept their seat.

And, as of 8:48, Virginia bans same sex marriage.

GOP Stronghold. Even Webb, who used to be a republican, couldn't budge it.

I went to work tonight and my boss didn't vote. I lectured him about it every ten minutes. That's why it's a GOP stronghold.

Oh, and they're also saying the gay marriage ban passed in VA.

They're projecting Cardin to take Maryland, but then show Steele with a 50% to 41% lead.

How the fuck do their projections work?
